PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the sole member and principal of David B. Tatge, PLLC,  a Virginia professional limited liability company (the “Company”), David B. Tatge, Esq., retired from the active practice of law on July 27, 2026, at 12:01 A.M. At that time, the Company then converted, effective immediately, from a professional limited liability company authorized to deliver client legal services into a “regular” limited liability company under Va. Code Ann.§13.1-117(B).  It has been an honor and a great privilege for the Firm, by Mr. Tatge, to have advised clients on their respective legal affairs through the time of his retirement.

Prior to Mr. Tatge’s retirement, clients of the Firm were notified by the Firm in writing of these developments.  They were also told, in writing, among other things, about: (i) their right to recover from the Firm, without cost, original client-furnished documents and any original signed documents and instruments such as wills, deeds and contracts held by the Firm, and (ii) their right to request from the Firm a copy of their full Client File (or portions thereof, as they see fit), the costs to them for so doing, and advised of the Firm’s Document Retention Policy..

No new legal advice or legal services can or will be provided by the Firm or Mr. Tatge to either former Firm clients, prospective new clients or other persons after Mr. Tatge’s retirement.
