2012 Factoring Conference: Factoring: Past, Present, and Future

David Tatge joined a panel discussion titled "Factoring: Past, Present, and Future" at the 2012 Factoring Conference.

The panel discussed the evolution of the factoring industry. It began by analyzing the roots of the industry going back to the time when factoring acted as the financial engine for the garment industry in medieval England. The discussion progressed to today's Factors, who serve as one of the world's financial tools for funding the small business community, with the current involvement in the transportation, manufacturing and service sector. Next came a trip to the future, with predictions for Factors in regards to the industries and methodologies that will need to be utilized and implemented in order for them to survive and prosper.
